Your information

Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information we use when you browse, contact us or place an order, and the choices you have.

Last updated: 2 August 2026

1. Who we are

Teeznthreadz Limited is the data controller for The Badge Room. The company is registered in England and Wales under number 13804692. Its registered office is 18 Linton Close, Winyates East, Redditch, Worcestershire, B98 0NA, United Kingdom.

You can ask a privacy question or exercise your data rights through our contact page or email support@thebadgeroom.com.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the shop, we may collect:

  • your name, delivery and billing addresses and contact details;
  • order, payment-status, delivery, return and refund information;
  • messages and information you send through the contact form;
  • technical and security information such as IP address, browser and logs;
  • your communication and marketing preferences, where offered; and
  • records needed to prevent fraud and protect the shop.

Stripe processes payment-card information. The Badge Room does not receive or store your full card number.

3. Why we use it

We use personal information to:

  • answer enquiries and provide customer service;
  • take payment, fulfil orders and provide delivery updates;
  • manage cancellations, returns, complaints and refunds;
  • keep accounting, tax and legal records;
  • prevent fraud and keep Commerce84 and our customers secure; and
  • send marketing only where the law allows it and you can opt out.

Our lawful bases are performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, and consent where we specifically ask for it.

4. Who receives information

We share only what is needed with providers that help us run the shop, including Commerce84 hosting, Stripe, email providers, delivery companies, fulfilment providers, professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it.

Some providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we require an appropriate legal transfer mechanism and suitable safeguards.

5. How long we keep it

Order and transaction records are normally retained for six years after the relevant company financial year so we can meet tax and accounting duties. Routine enquiries are kept only as long as needed to answer and manage them. Security records are kept for a proportionate period and then deleted or anonymised.

6. Cookies and storage on your device

The basket is currently stored on your device so it remains available as you move between pages. This storage is necessary for the basket function you request. We do not currently use advertising or optional analytics cookies.

If optional analytics or advertising tools are introduced later, they will not be enabled until you have been given a clear choice where consent is required.

7. Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to its use. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Contact us first so we can investigate. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when the shop, its providers or our legal obligations change. The latest revision date appears at the top.
